The Chandler Aquatic Centre at the Sleeman Centre is a world class indoor aquatic sports venue. Since opening in 1981 it has hosted a wide variety of events of both National and International significance including the Commonwealth Games (1982), Olympic Selection Trials, Australian Open Championships, Australian Masters Championships, Pan Pacific Championships (1987), the Second FINA World Masters Championships (1988), the Third Australian Masters Games (1991), The World Masters Games (1994) and the Goodwill Games (2001).

The aquatic centre has a 25m warm up pool (the Community Pool), a diving pool and the 50m pool which has ten full width lanes.

The club usually trains in the main 50m, but on rare occasions when it has not been available due to maintenance, the diving pool has been used in its swimming squad training configuration. The club has conducted its Annual Swim Meet at the Aquatic Centre on numerous occasions and in November 1981 had the honour of conducting one of the first Swim Meets to use the facility.

The Brisbane Aquatic Centre is located at the intersection of Old Cleveland and Tilley roads at Chandler, see the Sleeman map. Enter via Tilley road roundabout and proceed to car park two, GPS coordinates of car park entrance: 27º30’50.6”S153º08’43.1”E (WGS84). From the car park follow signs to the aquatic centre.
